The Brief

Church International Ltd was selected by Belgium-based BNP Paribas Fortis, a prominent retail and mobile banking leader, as part of their European supply chain for a web infrastructure staffing initiative. This initiative required a recruitment partner with the capability to provide both on/offsite services in Belgium while ensuring compliance with a complex regulatory landscape and offering a consistently high level of administrative support. With a proven track record in supplying skilled technology experts to the Bank, Church International was then given the opportunity to expand our role to facilitate the organisation’s transition to agile operations and the implementation of a DevOps model to accelerate application development, testing and deployment. As a result, resourcing requirements expanded to encompass agile coaches, scrum masters, and product owners.

What We Delivered

As the Bank advances to the next phase of its strategy, implementing agile practices throughout the organisation, the Agile Centre of Excellence is extending its reach to offer coaching to other business areas. Church International continues to provide specialised coaching resources as part of the broader technology recruitment services agreement. Initially a three-year agreement, our partnership has flourished into a decade-long collaboration, during which we have supplied and managed over 150 specialist resources across a broad spectrum of Application and Infrastructure technical disciplines: API, Middleware, Cloud, Mainframe, Database, Networking and Security. Today, we are running a contingent workforce of over 50 technology specialists sourced from 10 countries across Europe and Asia, carefully selected to meet the organisation’s technical and cultural criteria through our Resource Management Service.
