Settlement provider Ripple has opened a European headquarters in London and appointed a new managing director, Daniel Aranda, and a new European sales director, Patricia Pittomvils. Ripple utilises blockchain technology for solutions that enable banks to transact directly and cost-effectively with certainty of settlement in real time. The majority of the companyâs current partners are now based in Europe, including Santander and Fidor Bank.
