The global user base for person-to-person (P2P) mobile money transfers will increase from 193 million users in 2014 to 1.61 billion in 2019, according to Ovum.
The analyst firmâs new m-payments forecast also shows that the total user base for all mobile payment segments â including m-commerce and mobile proximity payments â will grow from an estimated 690 million users in 2014 to 4.8 billion users in 2019.
