Chriss Andrews

Founder & CEO

Being part of an RAF family, I moved around a lot during my early years. I studied modern languages in Aberdeen before working in Germany and London and eventually falling into recruitment in 1979. After five years decided to start up my own company and the rest as they say is history. I am still as passionate about recruitment after 36 years and proud to be a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals.

Brian Fitzgerald

Managing Director

I joined Church International in 2003 having gained wide experience in building sales teams and as well as running my own recruitment company. The proudest moment in my career was becoming MD in 2006. I have really enjoyed being part of our growth and success. Outside of work I love any competitive sport - tennis, badminton, golf... and enjoy any challenge which allows me to raise money for the charities I support.

Patricia Phillips

Finance & HR Director

I've been responsible for our Finances and Business Support since Chriss set up the company in 1984 when it was just the two of us doing everything! I've managed to juggle a career in a successful and growing company and bringing up two children... challenging but hugely rewarding. My spare time is spent walking in the wonderful Kent countryside when I'm not chasing around after my three grandchildren.

Lesley Hayes

Head of Compliance, Legal & Support

I joined in 2007 having worked for 14 years at PwC in their IT, Procurement and Contractor Management and HR functions. I currently manage the Compliance Legal & Support team. My main challenge is keeping abreast of all legal and compliance issues facing a constantly changing recruitment industry. To switch off I thoroughly enjoy spending time in the peace and tranquillity of the New Forest – no WiFi and extremely intermittent mobile signal – total bliss!

Phillip Jennings

Managing Consultant & Head of BI

I've worked in recruitment in the UK and Australia since graduating from Exeter University with a Masters in Engineering. I have been part of Church International for 17+ years and I still love providing a first class service to both our clients and candidates as well as being in the management team with responsibility for BI and Internal Comms. I have been married for nearly ten years with two children who keep me very busy! 

Karl Henneker

Managing Consultant & Head of Delivery

Since joining the team in June 2003 I’ve grown with the organisation and now look after the Delivery function and work with new recruits coming through our innovative Academy scheme. I’m passionate about developing strong partnerships with clients and candidates and helping others to succeed in building a career in recruitment. Outside of work I'm either in the kitchen knocking up my next culinary delight or at the stable yard.
