LINK reports record cash withdrawals

Cash withdrawals from LINK ATMS hit a record £128 billion in 2015, new figures have shown. This was up 2 per cent from the £125 billion taken out of LINK cash machines in the UK in 2014. Last year, Brits made over two billion visits to the network of 70,000 ATMS – up 0.8 per cent on the previous 12 months. The amount that people withdrew also increased – with the average withdrawal value rising from £61.25 in 2014 to £61.93 in 2015.
