Infrastructure Engineer (IaaS) – The Hague, Netherlands

• Contract: August 2026 – December 2026, full-time, on-site
• Security clearance: NATO Top Secret clearance required

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) operation within a secure NATO environment.

The successful candidate will provide operational support across virtualisation, storage, backup, servers, and data centre infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security, and reliability of critical services.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments and virtual infrastructure.
• Support servers, storage, backup, and data centre operations.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and perform hardware maintenance.
• Maintain technical documentation, CMDB records, and operational procedures.
• Support service improvements, change management, and ITIL processes.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance and occasional out-of-hours support.

Essential experience:

• 5–7+ years’ experience in infrastructure engineering (depending on degree level).
• Strong VMware vSphere 7+ experience; knowledge of VCF desirable.
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage, Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and data centre environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, automation tools (VMware Aria/Ansible), and infrastructure security.

Desirable: VCP, CompTIA Server+/Network+, CCNA, Data Centre certifications, NATO/service delivery experience.

Security clearance: NATO COSMIC Top Secret required

Travel: Occasional travel to NATO sites may be required.
