Our client is a primary supplier to several NATO frameworks.   An exciting and impactful role has been released today for one of the organisations within NATO.  Over the next week we will be reviewing profiles for submission on 12^th May for review by NATO.  Latest Start Date will be 1^st June 2026.

This role is only available to those who hold a passport of a NATO member country and you must reside in a NATO member country for the duration of the contract.  No Security Clearance is required for this deliverable.  NATO or Defence sector experience is required.  This is a remote position.

The Contractor shall provide Senior Full Stack Software Development Services to architect, develop, implement, integrate, and deploy Full Stack application meant for analytical capabilities for the Toolbox platform that is being developed by NATO. The Contractor will be responsible to provide technical expertise in the area of software development and co-ordinate activities with the various teams.

The Contractor will develop tailored tools to enable and facilitate demonstration of the results, maintain dashboards and information management artefacts and furthermore the Contractor shall be able to provide on-site support to the workshops that will be organised within the scope of PoW projects.

This SOW requires travel, consisting of up to 3 visits to Brussels (one per quarter) for a maximum of one working day each visit.  This will be included in the Rate and cannot be expensed.

There are 6 milestones to be delivered from June 1^st to 31^st December 2026.

Qualifications and Experience (not limited to…)

1. Senior-level full stack development experience with at least 8 years of experience, covering: frontend and backend development, system architecture, integration, implementation and end-to-end ownership from design through deployment.
2. Extensive knowledge in frontend (Vue.js, React, Astro) and backend frameworks (Python, FastAPI), including: Frontend application architecture and state management, backend API design, schema validation, and service orchestration.
3. Proven experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and data services, including: high-volume data ingestion and querying, search, retrieval, and analytics-oriented backends, performance-aware UI–backend interaction patterns.
4. Practical experience integrating AI and LLM-based services, including: LLM-powered analysis, synthesis, and content generation, retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or hybrid retrieval approaches and deterministic, traceable, and auditable AI outputs suitable for policy and analytical use.
