Specialist insurer Hiscox has signed up to use Guidewireâs SaaS-based predictive analytics system to drive growth in its UK and Ireland retail product lines. Dan Bishop, head of pricing at Hiscox, explained that the company had inked the deal after running a proof of concept that used the system to analyse the health of its book. This also allowed the insurer to calculate the return on investment of the new technology.
