Xtravirt, a leading Cloud Consulting and Managed Services organisation, initially engaged Church International’s TLC Service to help them navigate the complexities of IR35 legislation. They recognised the need to engage external expertise to make accurate IR35 determinations and align their workforce strategy with aggressive growth plans. The TLC Team conducted a comprehensive review of Xtravirt processes and a detailed assessment of their existing associate network, contractual arrangements, and individual tax implications on a case-by-case basis. We then transitioned the complete associate workforce under the TLC Managed Service and implemented IR35-compliant solutions.
Our partnership with Xtravirt has given them the space to concentrate on delivering services to their customer in the knowledge that their associate workforce is operating within HMRC guidelines now and in the future. They have reported that the ability to deploy IR35-compliant resources across an increased number of customer engagements has resulted in a 5%+ increase in revenue in the last 12 months. Xtravirt has since expanded the TLC engagement to utilise the broader Managed Onboarding Service, including in-depth screening, criminal record and social media checks, referencing, client-specific contractual and compliance requirements, occupational health assessments, FCA fitness and propriety assessments, and bespoke inquiries. Our growing partnership with Xtravirt underscores our commitment and capability to deliver tailored services to enhance efficient, rigorous, and compliant workforce screening and onboarding processes.
In addition to IR35 compliance and onboarding, Church International is instrumental in sourcing VMware experts for Xtravirt’s organisation. From a technical standpoint, we build and manage a highly skilled pool of VMware consultants, enabling Xtravirt to offer a flexible, timely, and efficient service to their diverse client base. Our proactive approach ensures that we are in regular contact with professionals who can deliver on a milestone basis, typically completing 20–28-day engagements before either extending or moving on to another client project. The trusted nature of our business means that our VMware consultants often recommend other qualified professionals, further expanding our talent pool.
As part of our comprehensive service, we can meet specific clearance requirements such as SC and DV, which are often needed for Xtravirt’s projects. Our streamlined onboarding process guarantees a smooth and timely issuance of contracts, along with thorough background checks and references. This ensures that Xtravirt is consistently provided with highly qualified professionals in critical areas such as NSX, NSX-T, NSX-V, Horizon, VCF, Vrops, Vsan, VMC on AWS, VMware vSphere, Veeam, and Tanzu.
