We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of reliable data assets for reporting, analytics, and applications.
This role combines on-site collaboration with remote work, allowing you to deliver solutions that have a real impact across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
- Design and implement data flows, models, and storage solutions.
- Identify and integrate data sources, applying business and technical rules.
- Build prototypes to validate solutions with business teams.
- Develop logical and physical data models for efficient integration.
- Optimise data pipelines for enterprise-wide use.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, mathematics, engineering); PhD or strong analytics experience in other fields is a plus.
- Minimum 6 years in data analytics, preferably with banking and project management experience.
- Proficiency in SAS EG, SQL, and Oracle.
- Experience with Python, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and Tableau is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
- Must reside in Belgium and hold the right to work in Belgium
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.
