A leading international bank is seeking a Senior Product Owner to join its Agile KYC team in Brussels. The successful candidate will represent stakeholders and customers within a Scrum team, driving the vision, strategy, and delivery of innovative banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications.
- Lead iteration planning and manage the Product Backlog to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Ensure alignment between business stakeholders and development teams.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies (reviews, retrospectives, and sprint planning).
- Monitor sprint progress, manage priorities, and make decisions on product functionality.
- Uphold Agile principles, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Product Owner or Agile leadership role.
- Strong background in banking and KYC processes.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, project, and budget management.
- Experience with large financial institutions and an understanding of their business environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and goal-driven.
- Leadership ability and openness to change.
- Proficiency in English and at least one local language (French or Dutch).
