ING is accelerating its digital banking strategy by fully digitising its current account opening process for the bankâs German customers. Customers simply fill in their personal details online and accept the terms and conditions â which means paper and signatures are no longer required. Customers will then receive a confirmation that their application is being processed, including the new IBAN. Customers finally authenticate themselves via an online video chat before activating their account.
