Citi has announced that it will join payment solutions firm Early Warningâs clearXchange network, enabling its US customers to make real-time P2P payments with nothing more than a mobile number or email address. Citiâs online and mobile banking customers will be able to send or receive real-time person-to-person payments to or from customers of participating network banks once the function is introduced in 2017.
