Two exciting opportunities to join our financial services client in London, with one of the roles having man management responsibility for a team of seven.Both require strong service management experience that will include Service Design and Architecture, Service Introduction and Transition skills gained within large, complex environments and transformation programmes. The role will be a key contributor to decisions on whether new services can be accepted into production and processes for updated services. The successful candidate will identify and manage Service risks and issues throughout the programme lifecycle, ensuring the risks are clearly communicated to stakeholders, control groups and Boards.Also being responsible for the production of regular management reporting on progress of Operation Readiness status, to be presented at Delivery Review Meetings. Outsource provider engagement and management exposure would also be highly advantageous as will any Cloud, Agile and DevOps experience.

Skills Needed:

  • Strong man management skills and experience of leading a team for the people management role
  • Relevant business or IT experience ideally from Banking/Finance sector
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ITIL certification
  • Prince2 certification
  • Ability to plan, organise effectively and deliver results on time
  • Be a SME on Service Management principles and Transition
  • Work closely with technical and operational colleagues
  • Shape and change processes where required
  • Able to coach less experienced team members
  • Track record success in Service Architecture and Service Design roles in an IT environment
  • Experience of maturing the Service Design and Introduction process
  • Experience of Process modelling and documentation
  • Experience of procurement processes
  • Service Implementation background
  • Service Management Tool Design & Specification experience
  • Service Design/Architecture experience essential
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Technology and business areas
