We are seeking a Network Automation Engineer to join our clients who are a global Top 100 fintech provider whose clients include leading Wealth Managers, Banks, Asset Managers, Fund Managers, Insurers, and Outsourcers in more than 15 countries.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure the operational stability of a multi-vendor and multi-tech network that spans over various locations worldwide in both public and private cloud settings. You will be working as part of a SaaS team based in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve operational issues
- Monitor network infrastructure using event management tools
- Implement network changes in accordance with the change management policy
- Provide support to clients in alignment with SLAs
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, stability, and security
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Use DevOps tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Manage incident and project-based work
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in the service provider environment
- CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Understanding and experience with VLANs, Spanning Tree protocol, routing protocols, TCP/IP stack, and IPSec VPNs
- Automation experience with Ansible and/or Python
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in complex network environments
- Experience with enterprise firewall platforms
