Our client, a leading bank, is embarking on an infrastructure migration programme following the acquisition of an asset management business. To ensure the programme is aligned with existing Risk and Controls frameworks a new role has been created.
The client needs an IT Risk and Controls Consultant to assist the Programme Director and the Director of Risk.
Development and implementation of global standard Technology Infrastructure risk assessment plans and practices in the region.
Assist the Technology Infrastructure region in preparation, fieldwork, ongoing reporting, and risk mitigation related to IT risk for internal & external audits.
Assess IT security risk at the planning stage of new or changed Infrastructure systems.
Schedule and lead workshops to help Technology Infrastructure identify potential IT risks and devise possible controls or actions to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Drive the development of Infrastructure staff training resources with a specific IT risk management focus and regional-specific factors.
Assist Infrastructure in working with Business Continuity Management (BCM) organization on developing, implementing, and testing BCM capability.
Drive good risk and control review practices in the Infrastructure region based on a risk approach.
This is a 1LOD operational role and requires a pragmatic approach. It would suit someone with demonstrable experience in IT Risk Management and Cyber Security and the individual will already hold certification in CRISC, CIMA and/or CISSP.
