We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Developer to join our clients who are a professional services company providing solutions and services related to Information Management, Information Exploitation, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
You will be responsible for working with clients in the Defence and National Security sectors to deliver high-quality solutions within complex and secure IT environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support for business development, proposals, and innovation tasks.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
- Provide technical support for client-side and server-side development
- Requirements capture and management, architecture understanding and design, research and development, and project leadership.
- Build strong relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities, and represent the company professionally.
Requirements:
- Full stack developer with skills in JavaScript (React, Angular), Python (Flask), HTML5 and CSS3, and Linux/WSL
- Experienced with various DevOps tools such as GitLab
- Experience with code reviews using version control (such as GitLab), security scanning, license scanning, and code quality.
- Leadership and line management experience
- Software architecture experience, especially with distributed systems, microservices, and API development.
- Current SC clearance.
This is a home-based position with occasional visits to the head office in Tewkesbury.
