About the Role: I seek a passionate Data Operations Engineer to manage Linux-based data pipelines and ensure seamless data flow. You’ll develop shell scripts, schedule jobs with Control-M, handle release management, and tackle incidents to keep operations running smoothly.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage Data Pipelines: Oversee Linux data pipelines, automate workflows, and collaborate with data engineers to optimize processes.
  • Job Scheduling & Releases: Handle job scheduling in Control-M, manage release planning, and troubleshoot job failures.
  • Incident Management: Quickly respond to data incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document solutions to keep everything on track.
  • Data Governance: Manage databases, execute queries, and enhance data quality and governance.

 

What You Bring:

 

Must-Have:

  • 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • Strong skills in Linux system administration, scripting, and data management.
  • Proven experience in job scheduling and release management.

 

Desirable:

  • Basic knowledge of Ab Initio and data governance principles.
  • Familiarity with Git and mainframe systems.
  • Experience in the banking sector.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communicator and team player.
  • Adaptable and flexible to evolving data requirements.

 

Languages:

  • Fluent in English. French or Dutch is a plus!
