2nd/3rd Line Back Office Engineer required by global commodities broker to provide a bridge between the service desk and the 3rd line support team.
You will manage the service desk queue for all infrastructure related incidents from back-ups and restores to basic server diagnostics. You will work closely with the service desk to improve their knowledge and skills and also with the third line team to improve you own skills and knowledge. You will also get involved in some project based work.
• MUST have proven 2nd line support ideally with some 3rd line experience.
• MUST Have a broad range of technical knowledge including:
• Windows Server and Desktop
• Fileserver and DFS
• ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
• Citrix XenApp and/or XenDesktop
• General understanding of networks
